Granger & Oaks Letting Agents -Mapperley Park Guide
Mapperley Park is built on the hill that stretches from Carrington up to Mapperley itself. It is a conservation area and is considered one of Nottingham’s most prestigious residential locations. The area has some wonderful examples of Victorian & Edwardian architecture set along tree lined avenues.

Over the decades, a large number of the substantial residences, many constructed for wealthy industrialists at the turn of the last century, have been split into apartments, giving the area a diverse make-up of residents.
Mapperley Park has a very active residents association, 2 tennis clubs, a thriving cricket club, childrens footall teams, a choice of reading groups, and a large hotel with a gym and pool. It is within walking distance of the City’s best private schools, and bi-annually there is a very well supported Open Gardens event that raises £000’s for a selection of local charities.
For public transport links, there is a choice of Woodborough Road, or Mansfield Road. Both have a very regular bus service to and from the city.
Schooling is catered for primarily at Carrington & Claremont Primary Schools, St Augustines Primary, Redhill Acadamy, the Nottingham Free School, and coming soon The Bluecoat Academy on the old Clarendon College site. Fee paying schools, Hollygirt School, and the Girls & Boys High School are within walking distance and are popular choices.
The residents of Mapperley Park are served by the local shopping parade in Carrington, & a small Sainsbury’s local on Woodborough Road, and a large Lidl situated on Mansfield Road.
